The Britannia Trio consists of piano, violin and cello and they specialise in providing classical and light music for both ceremonies and receptions. The players are all fine professional musicians who regularly work with the region's orchestras, including the BBC Philharmonic and the Halle.  They have provided entertainment at many weddings in venues across the north west and have the experience to give your wedding the perfect finishing touch.


The aim of the Britannia Trio is principally to play music that everyone can enjoy, without being classical music buffs! Our repertoire covers a wide range of pieces and styles, but concentrates on pieces that are well-known to the general public. We also play a small amount of lighter music, including songs by the Beatles and themes from West End shows. If you do not feel confident about picking specific pieces for your ceremony, we are happy to discuss this and offer advice. We will accommodate special requests where possible, and can arrange pieces especially for your day if the music is not commercially available. The Britannia Trio are available at very competitive prices. A two hour booking would normally cover the wedding ceremony and drinks reception, and three hours would normally cover the drinks reception and playing through the meal. Please contact us with your requirements for a quote.
